Part A. General terms (everyone)
1. Who we are
PasuyoBuddy ("PasuyoBuddy", "we", "us") runs an online platform in Luzon, Philippines that connects people who need items picked up, bought or delivered ("Customers") with independent delivery partners ("Riders"). Contact us at pasuyolabs@gmail.com.
2. What PasuyoBuddy is
PasuyoBuddy is a technology platform. We show bookings to Riders, calculate fares, and provide tracking, messaging tools and records. Riders are independent partners, not our employees or agents. The Rider who accepts a booking performs the delivery.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- Give true and complete information, and keep it updated. One person, one account.
- Keep your password and email codes secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account. PasuyoBuddy staff will never ask for your password or codes.
- Tell us right away at pasuyolabs@gmail.com if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Prohibited items and conduct
Nobody may use PasuyoBuddy to send, buy or carry:
- illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, explosives or other weapons;
- flammable, toxic or hazardous materials;
- live animals, human remains or body parts;
- cash or money remittances for third parties (except COD and Pabili amounts handled through the app);
- stolen, counterfeit or smuggled goods, or anything banned by Philippine law;
- items too large, heavy or dangerous for the chosen vehicle.
You also agree not to harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, give false information, misuse promos, create fake accounts, or try to hack, copy or disrupt the apps. A Rider may refuse any item that looks prohibited or unsafe.
5. Ratings, reports and messages
Customers and Riders may rate each other and report problems. Keep ratings and messages honest and respectful. We may remove content that is abusive, false or unlawful.
6. Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or shows signs of fraud. You may stop using PasuyoBuddy at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). Amounts already owed to or by you stay owed.
7. Limits of our responsibility
- We work to keep the apps running, but we cannot promise they will always be available, error-free, or that a Rider will always be available.
- Delivery times and in-app distances are estimates. Traffic, weather and other events can cause delays.
- To the extent the law allows, PasuyoBuddy is not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits or lost business). For a delivery problem caused by our platform, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for that booking. Nothing here limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be waived.
8. Changes
We may update these terms, our fares, commissions or promos. We will show the new date at the top and tell you in the app when changes are important. If you keep using PasuyoBuddy after a change, you accept the new terms.
9. Law and disputes
These terms follow the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Please contact us first so we can try to settle any problem. If it cannot be settled, the proper courts of Metro Manila will decide.
Part B. Customer terms
10. Services
- Pasuyo Delivery: a Rider picks up an item and brings it to one drop-off, or up to 4 drop-offs.
- Pabili: a Rider buys items for you and pays first with their own money, up to the limit shown in the app.
- COD (cash on delivery): a Rider collects the item price from the receiver for you.
Pabili and COD bookings need a verified account (valid ID checked by us).
Coverage: every pickup and drop-off must be on the Luzon mainland (Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Bicol). Islands that need a ferry, such as Mindoro, Palawan, Masbate, Marinduque, Romblon and Catanduanes, are not covered for now. Outside Metro Manila, fewer Riders may be available, so a booking can take longer to be accepted or may not be accepted.
11. Booking and fares
- The app shows the fare before you book. It is based on vehicle type, distance, service level and any extra stops or options.
- Any abono fee (the fee for a Rider advancing money for Pabili or COD, currently a flat amount shown in the app before you book) and tips are shown separately.
- Make sure the pickup and drop-off pins, names and phone numbers are correct. Extra waiting time, wrong addresses or changes after pickup may change the fare or cause the booking to fail.
12. Payment
Pay the fare, any Pabili item cost and any abono fee using the payment method chosen in the app. Cash is paid directly to the Rider. If you use an online payment such as GCash, it is processed by our payment partner (PayMongo). We do not store your card or wallet details.
PasuyoBuddy Wallet. You can load your PasuyoBuddy Wallet with GCash and use it to pay for bookings and tips in the app.
- When you top up or pay a booking with GCash, the GCash fee is added on top and shown before you pay.
- Wallet money can only be used for PasuyoBuddy bookings and tips. It cannot be cashed out, withdrawn or sent to another account. It does not earn interest.
- If a booking paid from the wallet or with GCash is cancelled, or no rider is found, the full amount goes back to your wallet.
- If you pay a booking with GCash and the booking cannot be made (for example the price changed), the money stays in your wallet so you can book again.
- A wallet has a maximum balance shown in the app. We may correct wrong amounts, and we may hold a wallet while we check for fraud or abuse.
- If you close your account, contact us about any wallet balance before closing.
13. Your items
- Pack items properly and describe them truthfully. Do not book prohibited items (section 4).
- Someone must be at the pickup and drop-off to hand over or receive the item. The Rider takes a proof-of-delivery photo and may record the receiver's name.
- For Pabili, you pay the actual store price shown on the receipt, even if it differs from your estimate.
- For loss or damage caused by the Rider, report it in the app or by email within 24 hours of the delivery. We will help investigate and contact the Rider. Please keep proof of the item's value (such as a receipt). Any help or compensation is limited to the proven value of the item, and may not cover poorly packed or fragile items, or valuable items you did not tell the Rider about.
14. Cancelling
You can cancel in the app before the Rider picks up the item. After pickup, a booking cannot be cancelled in the app. Please contact us. If a Rider already travelled or bought Pabili items, you must pay for those items and any fee shown in the app.
15. Tracking link
You can share a tracking link that shows only the map and delivery progress. Share it only with people you trust, such as the receiver.
Part C. Rider terms
16. Independent partner
As a Rider, you are an independent partner who uses PasuyoBuddy to find delivery jobs. You are not our employee. You choose when to go online, and which jobs to accept. You are responsible for your own taxes, government contributions (such as SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG), fuel, vehicle costs and phone or data costs.
17. Requirements and approval
- You must have a valid driver's license for your vehicle, a registered vehicle (OR/CR) in roadworthy condition, NBI clearance, a clear profile photo, a letter of intent and any other documents the app asks for.
- Your documents must be real and current. We review them before approving you, and we may ask for updates at any time.
- You must follow all traffic laws, wear proper safety gear, and have any government license or registration required for delivery riders (for example, DICT requirements).
- Only you may use your account. Do not let anyone else ride or deliver for you.
18. Doing the job
- When you accept a job, go to the pickup, handle the item with care and deliver it to the right person.
- Take a clear proof-of-delivery photo, and record the receiver's name when asked.
- Do not open, use or swap Customers' items. You may refuse items that look prohibited or unsafe.
- Pabili and COD: keep the receipt, hand over the right items, and collect the exact amounts shown in the app.
- Only accept jobs you can finish. If you give up accepted bookings too often (by default, 3 times within 7 days), your account is automatically suspended for 24 hours (72 hours if it happens again within 30 days). The app warns you before each give-up. Low ratings or complaints can also lead to suspension.
19. Wallet, load and commission
- Your wallet holds load (money you top up) and earnings.
- For every completed job, PasuyoBuddy deducts its commission (the percentage shown in the app) from your load. The abono fee is not charged commission. You need enough load to accept jobs.
- Top-up load is non-refundable, and it cannot be cashed out. It is only used to pay commissions. For GCash top-ups, the GCash fee is added on top and paid by you.
- You can request a cash-out of your earnings when the app allows it. A cash-out fee may apply, and cash-outs are sent on the schedule shown in the app. Give us correct payout details, because we are not responsible for money sent to wrong details you provided.
- We may correct errors in your wallet, and hold amounts while we check a dispute or suspected fraud.
20. Promos (free load)
- Promos such as the welcome load and invite reward are free load. Free load only pays commissions, cannot be cashed out, has no cash value, and expires after the number of days shown in the app.
- Each promo is limited to one per person, phone number and device. Promos have a monthly budget and can stop or change at any time.
- Fake accounts, self-referrals or other abuse will lose the promo and may lead to suspension.
21. Location and information sharing
While you are online or on a job, the app uses your location to show you nearby jobs and to show the Customer where you are. Customers see your name, profile photo, mobile number, vehicle, plate number, rating and location for their booking. Your license, NBI clearance and other documents stay private. See the Privacy Policy.
22. Safety and accidents
Ride safely. You are responsible for your own vehicle, your own insurance and for loss or damage you cause through your own fault or negligence. Report accidents, incidents or threats to us as soon as you can.
23. Suspension
We may suspend or deactivate a Rider for fake documents, fraud, theft, unsafe driving, abuse of Customers or staff, repeated complaints, misuse of promos, or breaking these terms. Before a permanent deactivation, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to explain, unless there is a serious safety risk.
